University Vice President for Student Affairs Brian Rose told us we’d see meal swipes in a few dining halls next year. Auxiliary Services Executive Director Paola Mignone promised us additional kosher and halal dining, dietary accommodations, and health and safety protections

In a recent meeting, we were asked to “lower our expectations” and were told that significant additional dietary accommodations or meal swipes would not be implemented in the first year of the dining contract, with no timeline on their implementation.

Stop the backtracking, and demand the dining we deserve. Put pressure on admin by making a call to Auxiliary Services, the university office that manages the dining contract, and demand:

  • Meal swipes
  • A fair contract for dining workers
  • A timeline for implementing meal swipes in multiple dining halls and expanding dietary accommodations
